A fresh supernatural narrative is taking shape for moviegoers, promising an intense exploration of dread and otherworldly forces. Actor Bhumi Pednekar has officially unveiled her next cinematic venture, a horror thriller titled Jaani Dushman: Darr Ke Aage Maut. Set against the atmospheric backdrop of the United Kingdom, the project is designed as part of an expanding horror franchise. The initial promotional visual has now arrived, immediately sparking enthusiastic discussions across social platforms.
Pednekar presented the first poster through her social media channels, inviting audiences to brace themselves for an unsettling journey. In her announcement, she wrote,
"डर तो बहुत देखा होगा अब खौफ महसूस करने के लिए तैयार हो जाइए।"The promotional art leans heavily into a menacing and eerie aesthetic, setting expectations for a gripping theatrical encounter filled with dark mysteries.
The Creative Minds Leading the Project
Directorial duties for Jaani Dushman: Darr Ke Aage Maut have been entrusted to Arshad Syed, while filmmaker Robbie Grewal is serving as the creative producer. On the production side, the venture marks a high-profile collaboration between Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Prabhleen Sandhu of Almighty Motion Picture.
This venture builds on previous creative ties between the two banners, who earlier partnered on the series Made in India: A Titan Story. Reflecting on the union, Bhushan Kumar noted that Almighty Motion Picture remains one of their most trusted creative associates, adding that teaming up with their unit has consistently yielded positive creative experiences.
Reuniting Key Collaborators
Almighty Motion Picture founder Prabhleen Sandhu equally welcomed the reunion with T-Series, noting that working alongside Bhushan Kumar and his organisation is always rewarding. She highlighted that this film holds distinctive importance for her personally and professionally.
According to Sandhu, the title allows her to collaborate once more with Arshad Syed and Robbie Grewal. The trio previously joined forces to deliver one of India's most well-received paranormal thriller series, making their reunion on this big-screen horror canvas a significant milestone for the production company.
Hollywood Stunt Director Peter Pedrero on Board
To heighten the physical stakes and deliver world-class tension, the producers have enlisted celebrated Hollywood stunt director Peter Pedrero. Pedrero brings an illustrious portfolio of international franchise work to the table, having contributed action and stunt choreography to iconic productions such as Harry Potter, The Conjuring, Game of Thrones, Fast and Furious, and The Expendables.
Pedrero's involvement suggests the horror thriller will incorporate intense physical sequences alongside its supernatural lore. With its British setting and ambitious production scale, Bhumi Pednekar's Jaani Dushman is scheduled to make its theatrical debut in 2027.
