Through this online post, the actress specifically tagged Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe, urging him to intervene and take strict measures against the sale of contaminated and adulterated products in the market.

In the video shared online, Bipasha Basu zoomed in on the contents of the container to highlight the problem clearly. She can be heard stating in the clip that the newly unsealed box is completely filled with very small bugs. Accompanying the video, she made a direct appeal to Tukaram Mundhe, writing that he remains the ultimate hope to ensure consumers do not end up purchasing spoiled or impure items. A similar incident had occurred previously when Shweta Tiwari found a cockroach in a beverage ordered through an online grocery app and similarly approached the Maharashtra FDA commissioner for action.
