When the feature film Hanuman Ansh opened in theatres, it initially struggled to draw audiences and faced a uncertain box office run. However, strong word-of-mouth recommendations and positive viewer feedback sparked a major turnaround. Made on an estimated budget of ₹2 crore, the film has managed to collect nearly ₹47 crore within 25 days of release, establishing itself as a commercial case study in the film industry.

National Award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar expressed amazement at the movie's box office surge. Sharing his thoughts on X, he described experiencing pure cinematic magic in the theatre, noting that the audience remained captivated throughout the screening. He highlighted the performance of actor Shobhinav Satya, who plays the role of Neem Karoli Baba, calling his portrayal effortless and brilliant.
Two Decades of Writing
A notable aspect of the project is its development history: writing the screenplay took 20 years, whereas the actual filming and production were completed within a single year. After overcoming its slow opening, the movie generated massive returns, surpassing expectations across trading and distribution circles.
