On a gross level, the film accumulated approximately 72.44 crore rupees in domestic Indian theatres, establishing the highest single-day gross collection for any Hollywood title in the country's box office history. This milestone surpassed the previous benchmark set by Avengers: Endgame, which opened in 2019 with approximately 54 crore rupees net and 65 crore rupees gross. Driven by its estimated 72.44 crore gross output, the latest Peter Parker chapter easily outperformed the previous Marvel record holder.
Hindi Dubbed Version Surges With 95 Percent Occupancy Across Theatres
Distributed extensively across screens nationwide, the Hollywood tentpole recorded an aggregate theatrical occupancy of 72.3 percent across all language versions. The original English version accounted for the largest financial share of the opening day earnings, generating an estimated net collection of 32.25 crore rupees alongside a 55 percent occupancy rate. However, the Hindi-dubbed edition emerged as the clear winner in terms of sheer audience volume and packed halls, registering a staggering 95 percent occupancy rate and bringing in an estimated 22 crore rupees net. Regional dubbed formats in Southern India also registered robust earnings, with the Tamil dubbed version collecting an estimated 3 crore rupees net and the Telugu edition contributing approximately 3.25 crore rupees net, both maintaining solid occupancy rates between 65 and 66 percent.
Bhai Tera Star Hai Struggles With Low Footfalls and Limited Shows
In stark contrast to the Marvel blockbuster's dominant run, the Bollywood entry Bhai Tera Star Hai, starring Raghav Juyal, experienced a remarkably slow start at the box office. Operating in a completely distinct genre, the Hindi film faced severe pressure as moviegoers overwhelmingly prioritized the international superhero release. Worldwide gross earnings for Bhai Tera Star Hai stood at a modest 0.30 crore rupees, with the entire 0.30 crore generated from domestic theatres in India and zero revenue coming from overseas territories. The film's domestic net collection reached just 0.25 crore rupees, which was collected across a total of 876 shows nationwide. Compared to the massive 17,250 show allocation for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the Hindi release struggled with limited screen presence and muted audience turnouts.
