An employment opportunity has emerged for youth seeking jobs in the region. Under the auspices of the Youth, Employment and Skill Development Department of the Bihar Government, the District Employment Exchange in Muzaffarpur is organizing a job camp on September 30, 2026. The recruitment drive will take place at the employment exchange office located in Gannipur, Muzaffarpur, starting at 10 AM. During this event, candidates will be selected by the private sector firm Welspun Living Ltd based in Gujarat.
Recruitment for 70 Openings
Through this employment drive, youth will be selected for a total of 70 vacancies designated for Trainee and Machine Operator roles. The minimum educational qualification required for these positions is an 8th-grade pass. Additionally, applicants must fall within the age bracket of 18 to 32 years. The selected candidates will be deployed at the company's workplace in Gujarat to carry out their operational duties.
Salary and Additional Benefits
According to the details released by the employment office, selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of 14,000 rupees. In addition to the monetary compensation, the company will provide welfare facilities such as provident fund, ESIC, and comprehensive insurance coverage. Furthermore, amenities including hostel accommodation, a canteen, and bus transportation will be extended to the workforce. Youth from Bihar who aspire to relocate to Gujarat for employment and kickstart their careers as machine operators or trainees are encouraged to participate in this camp.
Mandatory Documents to Carry
Participants attending the job camp must bring several verification documents along with them. These include an updated biodata, Aadhaar card, PAN card, relevant educational certificates, and mark sheets. Carrying two recent colored passport-size photographs is also mandatory. Officials have advised candidates to bring both the original copies of all necessary documents as well as their photocopies.

To partake in the recruitment event, candidates must complete their registration on the NCS portal. Individuals who have not yet registered with the employment exchange can visit the Gannipur office on any working day to get enrolled.
