Indian T20 cricket team captain Shreyas Iyer is set to live in a plush Mumbai apartment. He has rented this luxury flat in the city's Worli area for a period of three years, with the total rent for the entire lease coming to Rs 7.14 crore. Worli counts among Mumbai's most prestigious and sought-after residential neighbourhoods. The locality is famous for its stunning waterfront development, impressive skyline and excellent connectivity. Located in south-central Mumbai, the area is widely admired for its premium lifestyle, commercial significance and long-term investment appeal.
Rs 18.50 lakh monthly rent in the first year
According to proptech firm Square Yards, Shreyas Iyer registered this deal earlier this month. The starting rent for the apartment is Rs 18.50 lakh per month. As the hub of some of Mumbai's most exclusive residential towers and sea-facing homes, the area draws business leaders, senior professionals, entrepreneurs and those seeking a premium lifestyle.
World-class infrastructure and sea views keep Worli on top
Worli enjoys outstanding connectivity through the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, the Eastern Freeway and the city's key arterial roads. From here, major business districts such as the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Nariman Point, Lower Parel and Fort can be reached with ease. Thanks to its prime location, world-class infrastructure, magnificent sea views and the heavy demand from wealthy buyers and tenants, Worli continues to hold its place among Mumbai's most preferred and most expensive real estate markets.
Rs 74 lakh paid as security deposit alone
As per the property registration documents reviewed by Square Yards, the apartment rented at Artesia in Worli measures 360 square metres (3,875 square feet).
