According to police details, the sequence of events transpired on Sunday within the Basundhara Park locality, falling under the jurisdiction of Sarsuna police station. Initial inquiries revealed that relatives of the woman spotted the youth in her company. Following this discovery, the young man was detained inside a residence where the woman's father and maternal uncle subjected him to a physical assault. Soon after, the youth's father was summoned to the premises. The family members of the woman allegedly placed a firearm in the father's hands, issuing a chilling ultimatum demanding that he either shoot his son or walk naked through the neighborhood.
