A 25-year-old gym trainer named Nandan was brutally assaulted and killed following an altercation at a residential flat in Bengaluru on Saturday night. The incident took place in the Kempapura area of Hebbal after a social gathering held to mark the first anniversary of a fitness centre. Police acted swiftly on the family's complaint and placed four individuals under arrest in connection with the fatal attack.
Celebration Followed by a Fatal Confrontation
According to available details, the gym had organized an event on Saturday to commemorate its first anniversary. Nandan left his home to attend the celebration, informing his family that he might return the following morning if the festivities ran late. Following the official event, Nandan headed to an apartment belonging to an acquaintance named Anush, who trained at the same facility.
Three other gym trainers, identified as Sharath, Nishanth, and Vishwanath, were also present at the apartment. An argument broke out among the group during the gathering, which rapidly escalated into physical violence. The four individuals allegedly launched an assault on Nandan, inflicting severe injuries across his body and leaving him in critical condition.
Victim Succumbs to Injuries at Private Hospital
Following the brutal beating, Nandan was rushed to a private medical facility in Hebbal for emergency treatment. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment. Upon receiving news of the incident, Nandan's mother, Manjula, hurried to the hospital, where visible injury marks were observed on the victim's body.
The family alleged that the fellow trainers and acquaintances deliberately attacked Nandan during the confrontation. The sudden death of the young trainer has left his family devastated and sparked shock among residents in the locality.

Based on a formal complaint lodged by the victim's mother, Manjula, the Amruthahalli police registered a First Information Report (FIR) charging the accused with murder. The complaint detailed how an argument inside the apartment led to a deadly physical assault on her son.
Law enforcement officials subsequently detained and formally arrested all four suspects—Anush, Sharath, Nishanth, and Vishwanath.
