A deadly conflict rooted in personal hostility claimed the life of a young man in Rajasthan's Alwar district. The brutal incident occurred in Hasanpur village, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Laxmangarh police station. The assailants inflicted fatal injuries on the victim and brought him to the village in an Eeco car, attempting to fling him onto the road before speeding away. However, immediate vigilance by the victim's family members prevented a clean getaway, as they blocked the vehicle and captured one of the assailants on the spot, while the second accomplice escaped while wielding an iron rod. The gruesome crime has left the entire village in a state of shock and high tension.
Ambush Unfolded While Working Behind Family House
The deceased has been identified as Pramod, a resident of Hasanpur village. Pramod was the eldest of two brothers and carried the primary burden of providing for his household through agriculture. At the time of the incident, Pramod was working alongside his relatives, Ravikant and Pradeep, stacking and organizing pearl millet fodder behind their residence. Without warning, an Eeco car arrived and stopped nearby. According to the family's statement, two villagers, Mohan and Mahendra, both sons of Daya, were inside the car. The duo dragged Pramod, who was already critically wounded and bleeding profusely, out of the vehicle and threw him onto the street.
Family Blocks Vehicle and Apprehends Suspect
Spotting Pramod being thrown onto the pavement in a critical state, his relatives rushed toward the vehicle immediately. Displaying immense courage, family members stood right in front of the advancing Eeco car to block its path and foil the escape. During the confrontation, the relatives successfully overpowered and detained Mahendra. Meanwhile, Mohan brandished an iron rod in his hand, threatening bystanders, and managed to flee the scene on foot. Although the family desperately scrambled to provide emergency medical aid to Pramod, his injuries were too severe, and he succumbed before any medical care could be administered. Pramod was the backbone of his family, managing all agricultural responsibilities, and his sudden demise has left his dependents in profound grief. The relatives emphasized that the killing was the direct outcome of an ongoing personal feud between the parties.
Laxmangarh Police Launch Murder Investigation
Upon receiving the distress call, personnel from the Laxmangarh police station reached the village to secure the scene and begin preliminary inquiries. Station House Officer Rajesh Kumar Meena confirmed that a formal case of murder has been registered based on the complaint. Law enforcement authorities have taken custody of Mahendra, who was apprehended by the family members, and are interrogating him regarding the sequence of events. Intensive search operations and raids are currently underway across suspected hideouts to locate and arrest the absconding suspect, Mohan. The police are also examining the history of discord between the families to uncover the precise dispute that culminated in the fatal assault.
