Pi Network trades around $0.0900, extending its consolidation phase beneath the $0.1000 threshold while posting a +9.23% gain across August. The technical outlook for the asset remains mixed as a distinct lack of decisive momentum prolongs this sideways trend.
Testnet Token Releases and DEX Environment Testing
A Pi Network developer and founder of PiSchool shared details on X regarding the deployment of approximately 30 new tokens on the Pi TestNet. These unofficial tokens were introduced under the names of prominent global enterprises including Amazon, Microsoft, and Meta. Integrated directly with the Pi Wallet, these newly listed assets connect to DEX interfaces to execute swaps, signaling a potential environment test for the platform.
Trading at $0.0904 on Monday, the PI token maintains a mixed near-term trajectory. The 23.6% Fibonacci retracement level of the downward move from $0.1341 down to $0.0703 sits at $0.0853, functioning as the primary support floor for the current consolidation channel. To ignite a sustained upward trend, the token must secure a confirmed breakout above the 50% retracement mark at $0.1022, which would clear a path toward the 78.6% Fibonacci target at $0.1204.
Technical Indicators and Momentum
Daily momentum indicators present a mixed picture. The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator rests in slightly positive territory, while the Relative Strength Index (RSI) hovers near the neutral 50 level, pointing only toward tentative stabilization. Broader digital asset market movements continue to influence overall sentiment, with Solana testing key psychological thresholds amid institutional inflows, Cardano facing downward pressure near support, and Bitcoin sustaining strong monthly gains above $77,000.
