The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force has executed a major operation against the shooters involved in the high-profile Ankit Baliyan murder case. Following precise intelligence regarding the whereabouts and involvement of the culprits, security forces cornered the suspects, leading to an intense exchange of gunfire in Shamli where two shooters were neutralized by the UP STF.
ADG Law and Order Amitabh Yash revealed that investigators successfully established the identities and specific roles of the criminals connected to the homicide. He noted that the individual who shared posts on social media regarding the incident shares direct ties with the Gogi gang. Highlighting the ongoing crackdown, the senior official warned that whether a criminal is hiding abroad or in any other sanctuary, law enforcement will track them down and bring them to justice.

Shedding light on the investigation, the ADG clarified that it was entirely evident that the song which triggered the dispute was merely performed by Ankit Baliyan in an acting capacity, and he was not the lyricist. Despite this, executing a murder over such a matter demonstrates how syndicates perpetrate heinous crimes simply to expand their extortion networks and establish criminal dominance. He reiterated that under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, such acts of violence will face uncompromising opposition through a zero tolerance policy.
