The administration expressed strong disappointment and grave concern that certain individuals and anti-social elements are actively taking advantage of the students' genuine fear to serve their own selfish political motives. The university strongly advised the protesting students to shift their entire focus back to what truly matters in their lives, which is their academic studies and building a bright, secure future.
The Genesis and Core Demands of the Movement
This entire controversy and nationwide agitation officially ignited on June 6 when the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), along with several prominent student organizations like AISA and SFI, joined hands with various social activists to set up a permanent protest camp at Jantar Mantar. The core grievance of the massive crowd of protesters revolves primarily around a massive alleged paper leak during the highly competitive NEET-UG examination, coupled with a highly controversial CBSE marking scam that has sparked outrage. Since the very first day of the sit-in, the agitating students have laid out several strict and uncompromising demands before the central government. These demands primarily include the immediate resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, holding him morally responsible for the massive administrative failure. Furthermore, the students are demanding the implementation of completely transparent and structural reforms across the entire national examination system to prevent such fiascos in the future. Sonam Wangchuk Joins the Agitation and Goes on Fast

The situation quickly spiraled completely out of control, forcing the security personnel to resort to a heavy lathicharge and deploy multiple rounds of tear gas shells to disperse the massive, unruly crowd and restore public order. The violent, bloody confrontation left several students and numerous policemen severely injured on the streets.
