Serving students for nearly 50 years, the historical institution is receiving a brand-new, modern 32-room building designed to offer high-tech educational facilities within a single campus. Official project timelines indicate that the construction of this multi-story facility is expected to be completed by April 2027. Once fully operational, the upgraded government facility aims to match and rival the infrastructure standards of leading private schools in the region.
Spacious Classrooms and Specialized Labs Across a 17-Acre Campus
The upcoming building has been designed keeping in mind the evolving requirements of modern schooling. Spread over a generous 17-acre total campus area, the new structure ensures ample physical space for learning activities. No standard classroom in the 32-room layout will measure less than 24x24 feet, while several larger halls and specialized instructional rooms extend up to 30x25 feet in size. With these expanded dimensions, the facility will comfortably accommodate approximately 1200 students simultaneously.
In addition to spacious learning areas, the facility integrates dedicated laboratories directly into the same building complex. The infrastructure plan includes a specialized science laboratory, a modern computer lab, and all other essential subject-matter labs. Consolidating academic instruction and hands-on practical training under one roof eliminates the need for students to navigate across different parts of the campus, providing a seamless educational environment.
CCTV Surveillance, Clean Sanitation, and Government Initiatives
Student safety and hygiene remain central focus points in the construction of the new building. The entire structure will be monitored using a network of CCTV cameras to ensure campus security and maintain discipline. Furthermore, the plan incorporates clean washrooms, sufficient drinking water stations, and large, well-ventilated halls to foster a healthy, encouraging environment for learners.
School in-charge PL Sharma noted that campus construction work is monitored regularly to ensure quality standards. Although the exact construction budget figures were not disclosed, Sharma highlighted that the state is heavily focused on modernizing public schools. Initiatives like the PM Shri School and Model Sanskriti School schemes are playing a key role in strengthening public educational infrastructure across the state.
Strict Attendance Monitoring, Parent Meetings, and High Board Pass Rates
Alongside physical infrastructure upgrades, the school has implemented strict student monitoring mechanisms similar to those used by private educational institutions. If a student remains absent for even a single day without prior notice, school authorities contact their parents directly to inquire about the reason. Regular Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTM) and School Management Committee sessions are conducted to discuss academic progress and resolve student needs.
These structured academic measures are reflected in the school's recent board examination performance. The institution achieved a 100 percent pass rate in the Class 10 board examinations and recorded a 98 percent pass rate in Class 12.
