Students who stepped out after the test praised the administration's arrangements, saying the management this time was commendable. Sharing their section-by-section experience, candidates gave a clear picture: physics was the most demanding, chemistry was a race against the clock, and biology offered a welcome breather for most.
How Each Section Played Out
Students were broadly in agreement that physics questions were the most baffling this year. The questions were designed in a way that demanded sustained, focused thinking, leaving many candidates pressed for time. Chemistry was not much easier, with several students saying those questions took longer than expected to work through, creating additional pressure. Biology, however, told a different story. Most students found the section straightforward and said they had no major difficulty with it. Overall, the paper was described as average in difficulty. For those who had prepared thoroughly, most questions came from within the prescribed syllabus, though some questions were reportedly outside it.
Students Share Their Verdict
Pratishtha, who appeared in the exam, said the paper turned out to be slightly less difficult than she had anticipated. "We were expecting a tough paper, but that did not happen," she said. Physics was certainly challenging with its tricky questions, but biology and chemistry were at a normal level and did not pose major problems.
Khushbu Maurya described the paper as easy to moderate. Physics was the only section that caused difficulty because of tricky questions, while all other subjects were completely manageable and solutions came without much trouble.
Aditya Singh said that both physics and chemistry had questions on the harder side and solving them was not straightforward. However, the rest of the questions were good and he is hopeful of a good score.
Antara Dubey said biology questions were quite simple, but physics was so demanding that it consumed all her available time. She also expects the cut-off to be a little higher than usual this time.
Cut-Off Expected to Rise
The general mood among students is that this year's NEET cut-off will be higher compared to before. With the paper rated as average overall and biology questions being relatively easy, more students are likely to score well, which in turn is expected to push the qualifying threshold upward and make competition for medical college seats more intense.
