During initial inquiries, police discovered that Babubhai kept dangerous weapons inside the residence, including an iron pipe, an axe, and a hammer. Events of August 13 and the Tragic Evening
On August 13, another quarrel broke out between Babubhai and Ram during the afternoon. Later that evening, around 7:30 PM, Ram's mother, Hansaben, visited her daughter's residence nearby. Shortly afterward, her son-in-law, Rajeshbhai, arrived to accompany her back home. It was during this period that Babubhai allegedly communicated to family members that he had struck Ram with a hammer and killed him, leaving the family in absolute shock.
Discovery of the Crime Scene and Extent of Injuries
Upon rushing back to the residence, Hansaben and relatives discovered Ram lying motionless in a pool of blood inside an adjoining room. The victim had sustained severe head injuries, including a deep, gaping wound located right above his left eye.
