Prior to his work in Haryana, he had served as the in-charge of Madhya Pradesh Congress. Appointment to Haryana and Delhi in June 2023
In June 2023, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge appointed Deepak Babaria as the in-charge for both Haryana and Delhi.
