Social media influencer and YouTuber Dhruv Rathee was taken into custody by Delhi Police from his residence in Gurugram, Haryana. A police team reached his house in Kendriya Vihar, located in Sector-56, at around 7:48 AM and subsequently escorted him away.

A contingent of roughly 50 police personnel had established a perimeter outside the premises beginning late the previous night. When Rathee's mother opened the front entrance in the morning, officers stepped inside the house and secured his detention.
Recent Return to India and Heightened Activity
Rathee had recently arrived back in India and shared a message filmed near India Gate. The police action comes amid heightened surveillance around central Delhi, including Jantar Mantar, where multiple activists associated with CJP were also stopped and rounded up ahead of planned gatherings.
