A unique device that resembles a large firearm at first glance has caught people's attention, though its actual purpose is medical screening. This compact and portable equipment is designed to capture images of the human retina and can be carried anywhere with ease.
According to Dilip from Redimo, the company was specially invited to showcase this advanced eye-scanning technology. The device integrates a fundus lens along with artificial intelligence to thoroughly scan the retinal structure and predict severe medical conditions that a person might face in the future.
The screening can identify risks such as chronic kidney failure, chronic heart failure, and other cardiovascular diseases. Dilip explained that the machine takes a photograph within just thirty seconds and delivers the complete health analysis directly to the user's smartphone.
The eyes serve as a screening window for the entire body, and retinal nerves can indicate internal health complications. The primary advantage of this innovation is that it enables timely medical intervention and preventive care before conditions worsen.
Knowing about a potential chronic kidney ailment in advance allows individuals to monitor their blood pressure and blood sugar levels while staying under continuous medical supervision. While this machine is not currently available in Ranchi, the creators plan to launch it soon.
