Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr. Ehtesham Waquarib flagged off the new four-wheeler fleet, sending them off to serve various urban and rural police stations across the district. This strategic move aims to reinforce visible policing and drastically reduce response times during distress calls.

The primary mandate for these 40 high-tech vehicles is to enhance round-the-clock patrolling and maintain continuous vigilance across all police station limits. According to senior police officials, the allocation of these cars ensures that both densely populated city neighborhoods and distant rural pockets benefit from increased police mobility. Whenever reports of crime, local disputes, road accidents, or emergency situations emerge, nearest patrol units can be dispatched instantaneously. Minimizing transit time to the scene of an incident ensures quick assistance to citizens and helps secure critical evidence rapidly.
Modern Fleet Equipped With Emergency Siren and Hooter Systems
Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Ehtesham Waquarib highlighted that all 40 newly inducted vehicles are outfitted with modern security apparatus and signaling equipment. High-decibel sirens and hooter systems have been integrated into the cars to clear congested traffic pathways swiftly during priority response operations. This induction follows an earlier logistics initiative where 51 patrol vehicles were allocated to station units across the district. In addition to four-wheeler patrol cars, Jamshedpur Police relies on a fleet of 89 high-end, fast-response motorcycles stationed across key locations. These high-speed bikes are particularly valuable for traversing congested commercial marketplaces, narrow neighborhood lanes, and tight alleys where four-wheeled vehicles face mobility limitations. Officers assigned to these rapid-reaction motorcycles perform continuous mobile patrols, monitoring suspicious behavior and intervening promptly during incidents.
