Relief for teachers in Madhya Pradesh
There is reassuring news for government teachers in Madhya Pradesh. The state has relaxed its online transfer rules. The requirement to submit a marriage certificate has now been dropped, and teachers can instead provide alternative documents. Teacher unions had been demanding this for a long time. In place of a marriage certificate, they can now upload a Lok Sevak Samagra card, a verified page of the service book, or any other valid document. Today is the last day to apply for online transfers, and the transfer list is expected to be released by 27 or 28 June. However, there is still no relief for divyang teachers. The condition of a disability certificate issued within one year has troubled those teachers who already hold valid certificates for the period fixed under the rules.
