The violent altercation left Vishal Shinde and Sachin Dange with severe injuries, and both were rushed to MGM Hospital in Kamothe for ongoing medical treatment.

According to police details, the individuals involved in the conflict previously worked together in a partnership to secure lift maintenance contracts. However, growing differences regarding past financial settlements eventually caused them to part ways. Following their separation, ongoing friction persisted between the parties regarding who would secure the upcoming lift maintenance contracts in the area.
Late-Night Assault on Friday
The incident unfolded around midnight on Friday when Vishal Shinde, Sachin Dange, and Saurabh Dumbre were standing near Marwa Building at Shivaji Chowk in Taloja Phase-2. An argument broke out between the two factions concerning the old financial accounts and the control over lift maintenance contracts, quickly escalating into a physical confrontation.
As the situation worsened, the accused individuals reportedly attacked the trio with iron rods and wooden sticks. The violence peaked when shots were fired from a pistol, resulting in critical gunshot injuries to Vishal Shinde and Sachin Dange.
Case Registered Against Eight Suspects
In response to the incident, the Taloja Police registered a formal case against five named individuals—Sagar Dange, Akash Dange, Ganesh Lavare, Aniket Narwade, and Rudra Baravkar—along with three unidentified persons. Law enforcement authorities are actively searching for the suspects who fled the scene, and investigations into the matter remain underway.
