Akash works as a laborer alongside his brother-in-law in Patkheda village within the Jamner tahsil. On Sunday morning at approximately 5:05 AM, Akash received an urgent phone call from his brother Aniket, who broke the devastating news about their grandmother's murder. Hearing this, Akash Mahajan immediately departed for Yevati accompanied by his brother-in-law, Dharmaraj Shashikant Patil.
Victim Found Lying in a Pool of Blood

The police complaint states that the accused, Ganesh Wagh, was sitting nearby holding a sharp khur, a tool resembling a knife, in his hand. Furthermore, investigators found a broken pickle jar stained with blood spots, along with an iron agricultural tool, lying at the crime scene.
Assault Carried Out with a Glass Jar and Tool
When complainant Akash Mahajan questioned Ganesh Wagh about the sequence of events upon arriving at the scene, the accused admitted that he grew enraged because his mother had not prepared food.
