He pointed out that government authorities had given assurances on July 25 ensuring that no punitive measures or legal actions would be taken against the protesting students.
Demand for Written Accord and Kapil Sibal Backing
Sourav Das further emphasized that unless a formal written agreement is provided and the detained students across the nation are released by Tuesday, the Cockroach Janata Party will be left with no choice but to restart its sit-in demonstrations. Amidst these developments, he also maintained that senior advocate and political figure Kapil Sibal is standing in support of their cause.
