While the extension of these special trains brings much-needed relief to festive travelers, from a public safety and law enforcement perspective, managing massive crowds at railway stations remains a major challenge. During peak festive rushes at busy transit hubs like Anand Vihar and Shakurbasti, the risk of stampedes, pickpocketing, and luggage theft increases significantly. Railway Protection Force and government rail police must maintain heightened vigilance during the operation of these special services to ensure commuter safety.

In view of the escalating passenger pressure on key routes towards Bihar and Uttar Pradesh during the festive season, robust security deployment alongside crowd management at terminals like Anand Vihar is critical. Enhanced coordination among security forces and active rapid response units can effectively prevent untravelly incidents, ensuring safe and smooth transit for lakhs of commuters.
