The relentless downpour has caused extensive damage to vital transit routes in the area. The main culvert situated on the route connecting Jhala ki Chowki to Bhila gave way under the immense pressure of raging floodwaters, completely washing away the structure. With the culvert destroyed, traffic movement on this route has come to a total standstill, cutting off several surrounding villages from the mainstream and forcing residents to rely on cumbersome detours.

Weather recording instruments measured 46 mm of rainfall between 8 AM and 5 PM in the area, following an earlier spell of 22 mm recorded overnight.
