Drawing a direct comparison to popular comedy programs such as Kapil Sharma's television show, Ojha pointed out that an entertainer's primary role is to bring laughter to the public. In contrast, the Leader of the Opposition holds a vital constitutional position. The individual in this role is expected to guide the nation, offer solutions to pressing public challenges, and present a clear vision for the country's future. He stressed that political figures must maintain seriousness and accountability in their public conduct.
Independence Day Attendance and National Interest
Ojha also expressed explicit disagreement with the decision of senior Congress leadership to skip the official Independence Day ceremony at the historic Red Fort. Although the Aam Aadmi Party has extended support to these youth initiatives, Ojha attributed the rise of vulgarity in public speech to media influences, particularly contemporary cinema. He explained that when inappropriate language is normalized in films and literature, young people inevitably absorb and replicate those expressions.
Turning to the emergence of the Cockroach Janta Party, Ojha commended the initiative taken by young activists, describing their willingness to organize as a positive step. He praised their energy, intellect, and clarity of purpose. However, he strongly recommended that the party establish an advisory board composed of senior and experienced individuals.
