Incarceration in Adiala Jail and Legal Proceedings
Imran Khan has been detained since August 2023 and is presently serving a prison sentence inside Adiala Jail in connection with a 190 million pound corruption case. Beyond the financial corruption sentence, the former Prime Minister is facing additional legal charges under the Anti-Terrorism Act tied to the nationwide street demonstrations that occurred on May 9, 2023.
