Law enforcement authorities in Rajasthan's Dholpur district orchestrated a comprehensive area domination exercise aimed at dismantling criminal syndicates and restoring public confidence. Commencing in the early hours of Sunday and continuing until late in the evening, the widespread operation caught offenders off guard across urban and rural pockets. Spearheaded by Superintendent of Police Vikas Sangwan, the district-wide mobilization deployed heavy forces across public roads and suspected hideaways to sever logistical networks used by local outlaws.
Tactical Deployment Across 450 Identified Locations
Executing an operation of this magnitude required meticulous logistical coordination and intelligence mapping. Under Sangwan's direct command, a contingent of 280 police officers and personnel was mobilized and structured into 67 tactical strike teams. These units simultaneously raided approximately 450 identified spots throughout the district. The synchronized timing prevented targeted suspects from alerting accomplices or evading the perimeter cordons established by the field teams.
High-Profile Apprehensions: Bounty Evaders and History-Sheeters
The aggressive combing effort resulted in formal legal proceedings against 246 individuals. Among those apprehended or processed were 27 fugitives carrying active arrest warrants and 5 criminals carrying cash rewards. Furthermore, 4 hardcore offenders and designated history-sheeters were rounded up as officers scrutinized their ongoing affiliations, safe houses, and criminal antecedents.
Arms Act Offenders and Preventive Custody Under BNS
A significant segment of the crackdown focused on firearm-related offenses, resulting in legal action against 43 active suspects tied to illegal weapons and shooting incidents. The drive also netted 14 people wanted in routine criminal cases, 1 suspect tied to a heinous offense, and 5 individuals linked to illicit liquor distribution. To preempt public order disruptions, law enforcement detained 107 individuals under Section 170 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Digital Forensics and Sustained Pressure on Crime Syndicates
Beyond physical detentions, searching units conducted forensic checks on communication tools and transport assets utilized by the suspects. Officers inspected mobile handsets and personal digital hardware belonging to contraband traffickers, liquor peddlers, and armed elements to trace incoming calls, financial connections, and upcoming conspiracies. Police leadership affirmed that such coordinated interventions will continue on a regular basis to eradicate organized crime throughout Dholpur.
