The distribution network allocation was initially initiated back in 2023, but the entire exercise was stalled due to a judicial stay order. During that earlier timeline, the Kotputli-Behror region was still administered under the composite Jaipur district setup. Following the dismissal of the court stay, the Food and Civil Supplies Department formally wound up that stalled round. All application records belonging to the Kotputli-Behror territory were subsequently transferred to their respective local supply authorities. For the remaining 119 distribution centres located inside Jaipur Rural, authorities have instituted a fresh exercise officially designated as Notification 2026.
