The sports arena of the Government Higher Secondary School in Gajjupura, situated in the Sapotra block of Karauli district, is fully set to host the 70th State-Level Sports Tournament starting October 1. This premier tournament will feature under-17 and under-19 girls' kho-kho squads competing for top honors. Marking a major sporting milestone for the region, this is the very first time that the Gajjupura sports stadium has been chosen as the venue for a tournament of state caliber, triggering immense enthusiasm among the local population and sports followers. Contingents from diverse districts across Rajasthan have either arrived in Karauli or are completing their final journeys to the host site.
Grand Inauguration Scheduled for October 1 Morning
The week-long competition will officially be inaugurated at 10:00 AM on October 1 in Sapotra. The opening ceremony is scheduled to be attended by MLA Hansraj Meena, Municipal Chairperson Sapna Devi, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Anup Singh, and Chief District Education Officer (CDEO) Sunil Kumar Sharma. These dignitaries will jointly declare the championship open. The venue management teams at Gajjupura stadium have wrapped up all preparations to ensure the opening ceremony proceeds seamlessly.

Supporting these young sportspersons are 258 designated contingent in-charges who have traveled alongside their teams.
