According to the weather forecasting center, a new low-pressure system is highly likely to form around September 11 over the Bay of Bengal, near the northern Andhra Pradesh and southern Odisha coasts. The development of this marine atmospheric system is expected to influence weather across northern plains as well as Rajasthan. Meanwhile, the previous low-pressure area situated over Uttar Pradesh has substantially weakened, and the monsoon trough line is currently positioned north of its normal trajectory. Although westerly winds presently dominate most parts of the state, precipitation in eastern districts is projected to gather momentum beginning September 11.

Wind gusts ranging between 30 to 40 kilometers per hour are expected during this period. Districts across the Kota and Udaipur divisions will also fall under the influence of this upcoming weather phase. On September 12, multiple locations within Kota and Udaipur divisions are anticipated to receive light to moderate rainfall. The weather department has placed these districts under a Yellow Alert, cautioning the public regarding lightning hazards and gusty winds blowing at speeds of 30 to 40 km/h.

In western Rajasthan, including the desert districts of Bikaner, Jodhpur, Barmer, and Jaisalmer, weather conditions will remain predominantly dry until September 11. However, starting September 12, atmospheric moisture is forecast to extend into Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions, creating favorable conditions for isolated light rain accompanied by thunder. While afternoon humidity and minor temperature variations may persist initially, the onset of scattered rainfall after September 12 is expected to moderate local weather conditions in these western regions.
