This decision comes in response to the sustained increase in passenger footfall and the anticipated travel rush during the upcoming festival season. Under the revised schedule, these special services will operate for an additional eight trips, remaining operational until September 15, 2026.
Decision Aimed at Easing Festival Rush and Daily Travel
Saurabh Jain, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Kota Railway Division, announced the decision while highlighting that passenger convenience remains the railway's topmost priority. He noted that the extension of these services was essential to handle the heavy passenger load across busy corridors. The continuation of these trains will directly benefit thousands of regular commuters and long-distance travelers traveling across Jaipur, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Mathura, and Bharatpur.
Details of the Three Extended Special Train Services
Among the extended services is Train No. 02921/02922 Sogaria-Mathura-Sogaria Unreserved Superfast Special. This train will continue its operations on its scheduled route until September 15, 2026, offering uninterrupted connectivity between Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh for unreserved passengers.
Additionally, Train No. 05493/05494 Durgapura-Sawai Madhopur-Durgapura Unreserved Special has also been granted an extension to operate until September 15, 2026. This service plays a critical role for daily passengers commuting between Jaipur's Durgapura station and Sawai Madhopur.
Jaipur-Bayana Train Extension to Bharatpur Maintained
Furthermore, the railway administration has extended the expanded route of Train No. 19721/19722 Jaipur-Bayana-Jaipur Special up to Bharatpur. Under this decision, the service will continue connecting Jaipur and Bharatpur in both directions until September 15, 2026, serving as a vital transport link for residents in eastern Rajasthan.
