A thrilling new adventure attraction is taking shape at Harsh Parvat, a renowned religious and tourist destination located in the Sikar district of Rajasthan. Perched high in the scenic Aravalli mountain range at an elevation of 3,100 feet above sea level, a state-of-the-art 560-meter zipline facility is under rapid construction. Over half of the construction work on this high-flying adventure track has already been completed. Once operational, the facility will allow visiting pilgrims and adventure enthusiasts to soar through the air directly above a deep natural gorge, providing an exhilarating aerial view of the surrounding landscape. Authorities anticipate that the entire project will be ready for public inauguration by October.
Infrastructure Details and ₹1.50 Crore Investment
The project is being developed under a private partnership model, with a private firm investing approximately ₹1.50 crore into its engineering and installation. To facilitate the construction of the adventure track on forest land, the Forest Department formally granted clearance for the diversion of 0.706 hectares of land. Construction progress on the physical framework has advanced swiftly. The main structural tower situated on one side of the mountain ridge has already been fully erected. Meanwhile, construction activities on the opposite end, located near the wind mill parking area, are moving ahead at a rapid pace to meet the project deadlines.
Spider-Man Zipline and Gorge Crossing Experience
Spanning a distance of 560 meters, the zipline cable runs from the main mountain peak tower to the designated landing area adjacent to the wind mill parking lot. The entire aerial journey passes over a vast, steep canyon, giving riders a adrenaline-pumping sensation of flying across the Aravalli hills. In addition to the standard zipline setup, visitors will also be able to experience a specially designed Spider-Man zipline. Under this unique arrangement, thrill-seekers are secured into a specialized harness attached around the waist, allowing them to glide horizontally through the air between mountain ridges before alighting safely at the designated landing platform.
Safety Audits and Final Technical Inspections
Engineers and project managers estimate that the remaining structural and installation work will take about 1 month to complete. Following the physical completion of the track, the zipline will undergo rigorous safety evaluations and mandatory technical testing before opening to tourists. Experts will perform comprehensive load tests, structural checks, harness safety audits, and emergency braking tests. Only after obtaining all necessary safety certifications and clearances will the zipline officially open to the public, adding a dynamic adventure tourism option to the location's existing religious circuit.

Harsh Parvat is celebrated not only for its rugged topography and scenic vistas but also for its profound cultural, historical, and spiritual heritage. At the summit of the mountain, sitting 3,100 feet high, lies the ancient Harshnath temple, which forms a vital cornerstone of Shekhawati's historical legacy. Historical records indicate that the Chauhan ruler Vigraharaja initiated the construction of this grand temple complex in the year 973 AD. The intricate construction effort spanned approximately 12 years before reaching completion. Consequently, the sacred site boasts a documented history of more than 1,000 years. The introduction of modern ziplining is set to transform Harsh Parvat into a dual destination blending ancient history with modern adventure sports.
