The counting of donation boxes and vault offerings for the holy Shravan month has officially concluded at the renowned Shri Sanwaliya Seth Temple located in the Chittorgarh district of Rajasthan. Devotees visiting the shrine demonstrated immense faith through generous contributions of cash and precious metals. Beyond the substantial monetary totals, the temple received over 133 kilograms of silver and more than 1.38 kilograms of gold. In total, the temple trust accumulated offerings exceeding ₹35.66 crore across all channels.
Six Detailed Rounds of Donation Vault Counting
Hazari Das Vaishnav, Chairman of the Shri Sanwaliya Seth Temple Board, shared details regarding the systematic counting procedure. He explained that the opening and counting of the donation vaults commenced on August 11, 2026. The entire process stretched over multiple days, reaching its final conclusion during the sixth round of counting. The overwhelming influx of worshippers throughout the sacred Shravan period brought unprecedented contributions to the shrine, with board members describing the immense gold and silver receipts as a shower of divine blessings upon the temple.
Complete Financial Breakdown of Cash, Gold, and Silver
According to the official figures released by the temple administration, the combined collection across all modes reached ₹35,66,64,428. Out of this total, the main donation vaults located inside the temple premises contributed ₹27,89,54,347 in physical cash. Additional revenues received through postal money orders, direct counter offerings, and online payment gateways totaled ₹7,77,10,081. In terms of precious metals extracted directly from the vaults, the final tallies recorded exactly 1 kilogram, 38 grams, and 300 milligrams of gold, alongside 133 kilograms and 653 grams of silver.
Faith Drives Huge Numbers Following Record July Collections
The remarkable turnout and financial contributions during Shravan highlight the growing popularity of Shri Sanwaliya Seth Temple among pilgrims. This high volume comes shortly after the record breaking counts registered in July 2026. During that previous Ashadh month tally, the shrine received a historic single month collection of ₹38,23,13,862. That July total stood as the highest collection ever registered for the month of Ashadh. Crossing the ₹35 crore mark again in Shravan reinforces the deep spiritual connection held by millions of devotees.
