The Devastating Loss of 17 Years of Savings
For Sanjeet, a resident of Ranchi, life came to a grinding halt during the Covid pandemic. Over 17 years of hard work in his job, he had meticulously saved a sum of ₹32 lakh to start his own venture. However, the pandemic wiped out his entire investment, leaving him financially ruined. Finding himself on the streets and fighting deep depression, Sanjeet felt that all hope was lost and there was no way back.
Finding Inspiration Amidst Darkness
During this dark phase, a chance observation changed the course of Sanjeet's life. He saw someone running an institute for air hostesses, which sparked an idea. Sanjeet had always harbored a passion for flying, but even more than that, he felt a deep desire to help people from underprivileged backgrounds rise high. He realized he could establish a similar training institute that could offer scholarships to girls from lower-middle-class families, enabling them to become air hostesses and cabin crew members.
Taking Loans to Launch Sanjeet Aviation Academy
Driven by this new purpose, Sanjeet gathered his courage once again. He took out fresh loans and borrowed money from his friends to set up the Sanjeet Aviation Academy. Today, the academy holds a valid operating license and trains over 300 male and female students. A key highlight of his initiative is providing free training to underprivileged girls through scholarships. Graduates from his academy secure direct placements in leading airlines like IndiGo and Air India.
Diversification and Creating Employment for Dozens
In addition to aviation training, Sanjeet has expanded his entrepreneurial footprint into the lifestyle sector with a home decor company. The business crafts unique decorative items that Sanjeet designs himself, which are then brought to life by skilled artisans. Together, the aviation academy and the decor business employ more than 50 people. The man who once struggled to survive now provides a livelihood for dozens of families, with his businesses generating an annual turnover in the crores.
Sanjeet's Success Secret: Stay Positive
Reflecting on his journey, Sanjeet attributes his recovery and ultimate success entirely to a constructive and positive mindset. He firmly believes that even if you hit rock bottom, you must maintain hope. Life has its ups and downs, but keeping a positive outlook ensures that your time will eventually change for the better.
