Israr, a resident of Hasanpur village in Sultanpur district, has proven that achieving success does not require extensive formal education, but rather unwavering dedication and relentless hard work. Through his journey, he has carved out a distinct identity based purely on his artistic skill and craftsmanship.
Early education and learning the trade
Israr completed his formal schooling only up the fifth grade. Following that, he chose to learn the trade of painting right within his native village. During the initial phase, he focused intensely on understanding the nuances of the craft, gradually gaining hands-on experience and mastering the techniques over time. His journey demonstrates that formal education limits neither an individual's potential nor their capacity for growth.
Beautifying over 8,000 homes across 35 years
For the past 35 years, Israr has been consistently engaged in the painting profession. Over this extensive career, he has painted and transformed the walls of more than 8,000 homes with his own hands. Maintaining such dedication in a single profession for over three decades requires immense patience and skill. This vast experience has made his workmanship a notable benchmark in the local area, turning the craft into an essential part of his life.
Earnings and a lesson for the youth
Relying on the strength of his labor, Israr earns a decent livelihood today, with his monthly income occasionally reaching up to 50,000 rupees, though earnings fluctuate based on project availability and incoming orders. His inspiring journey serves as a powerful message for young people who feel discouraged due to limited schooling. Israr's life stands as proof that recognizing one's inner talent and working with absolute honesty can pave a clear path to self-made success.
