To alleviate the financial burden on marginalized households, the state government is offering a direct financial subsidy of Rs 5 lakh per flat alongside absorbing the entire cost of the land. The beneficiary is required to pay the remaining Rs 6 lakh balance in four manageable installments. Furthermore, the government is providing free property deed registration to all allottees, enabling them to leverage the title deeds to secure home loans from nationalized banks easily.

Given the acute scarcity of land and surging real estate valuations across Hyderabad, urban planners opted for 10-story high-rise structures designated as 'Indiramma Towers'. Each apartment spans a built-up area of 528 square feet, featuring a single bedroom, a living hall, and a kitchen space. The government has sanctioned a total project outlay of Rs 807 crore for this massive housing project and completed the tender allotment process. Engineering teams have been instructed to finish the construction of all 7,680 units prior to the upcoming Bonalu festival next year.
Digital Lottery Mechanics and Applicant Statistics
Public interest in the Indiramma Housing Scheme was overwhelmingly high, yielding 60,720 submitted applications. Following rigorous scrutiny and document validation by civil authorities, 40,900 applicants met the formal eligibility criteria. To guarantee complete integrity and eliminate manual bias, the lottery selection is executed daily for four assembly segments at a time, streamed live on the official Housing Board online platform at tghb.telangana.gov.in. Applicants who remain unallotted during the draw will receive a full refund of their Rs 10,000 earnest money deposit.
Quotas for Sanitation Workers, ST Communities, and Women
The housing distribution framework incorporates specialized reservation quotas to empower disadvantaged demographics. Municipal outsourcing personnel and sanitation workers have been allocated a dedicated 10 percent quota, while Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates receive a 5 percent reservation.
