The Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (Roadways) has launched a direct bus service between Nathdwara and Pathmeda, making the journey significantly easier for pilgrims travelling between these two major religious sites. The bus will run daily in both directions, passing through Jalore, Bhinmal, Raniwara and Sanchore.
A Long-Pending Demand Finally Approved
Residents and pilgrims had been demanding a regular bus service on the Nathdwara-Pathmeda route for a long time. Taking note of this demand, Roadways Managing Director Pramod Purushottam Sharma approved the new bus service. According to Bhinmal Roadways bus stand in-charge Kalpesh Jain, the bus will now operate daily in both directions, directly benefiting people living in Jalore, Bhinmal, Raniwara, Sanchore and the surrounding areas.
Full Schedule From Pathmeda to Nathdwara
The bus will depart from Pathmeda daily at 8 AM. Along the way, it will reach Sanchore at 8:30 AM, Raniwara at 9:30 AM, Bhinmal at 10:30 AM, Jalore at 12:30 PM, Falna at 2 PM, Desuri at 3 PM and Gomti at 4 PM. It will then arrive at its final stop, Nathdwara, at 5 PM.
Full Schedule From Nathdwara to Pathmeda
On the return route, the bus will depart from Nathdwara daily at 7 AM. It will reach Gomti at 8 AM, Desuri at 9 AM, Falna at 11 AM, Jalore at 12:30 PM, Bhinmal at 2:30 PM, Raniwara at 3:30 PM and Sanchore at 4:30 PM. It will then arrive at Pathmeda at 5 PM.
Pilgrims Set to Benefit the Most
Kalpesh Jain said the biggest beneficiaries of this new bus service will be pilgrims travelling to the religious sites at Nathdwara and Pathmeda. Until now, passengers had to change buses midway or rely on private vehicles, which meant more time spent and higher costs. With the new service, passengers will be able to travel directly to their destination on a single bus.
Boost for Religious Tourism and Local Travellers
The new bus service is expected to boost religious tourism in the region. It will also make travel easier for people living in towns such as Falna, Desuri and Gomti, as well as the surrounding villages along the route. With a regular bus service now in place, passengers will save time and get access to safe, affordable and convenient transport.
