In a shocking and tragic incident reported from the Loni police station jurisdiction in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, a teenager allegedly murdered his own father following a domestic altercation. The brutal crime took place in the early hours of Saturday at around 3:15 AM in Ashiyana City, located near Budh Bazaar. The deceased has been identified as 58-year-old Irfan Ahmed. Swiftly responding to the situation, local law enforcement authorities have taken the minor accused into custody and recovered the weapon used in the commission of the crime.
Altercation With Sister Triggered Father's Anger
According to initial findings, the tragic series of events began with a minor domestic argument inside the family home. Prior to the incident, the teenager had a heated dispute with one of his sisters over an unspecified matter. Upon witnessing the commotion, Irfan Ahmed intervened, first scolding his son and then physically punishing him. Deeply angered and humiliated by the reprimand and physical beating delivered in front of family members, the adolescent allegedly harbored a deep grudge against his father, leading to the fatal decision later that night.
Fatal Blow Delivered to the Forehead During Sleep
Irfan Ahmed earned his livelihood by working as a street vendor, moving from place to place to support his family. He lived with his wife and seven daughters, out of whom five are already married while two remain unmarried. Late Saturday night, Irfan was sleeping in the main room alongside his wife and one of their daughters, while another daughter was asleep in a separate room. The accused allegedly seized the opportunity while the household was fast asleep, retrieved a sharp-edged weapon, and struck his sleeping father directly on the forehead, inflicting severe and critical injuries.
Pronounced Dead Upon Arrival at the Hospital
The sudden attack threw the household into immediate panic and chaos, with screams echoing through the rooms as family members rushed to restrain the assailant. A local neighbor quickly dialed the 112 emergency helpline to alert the police authorities. Family members rushed the grievously injured Irfan to the 50-bedded hospital in Loni, where attending medical professionals examined him and pronounced him dead upon arrival. Upon receiving the distress call, the Loni police station team arrived at the crime scene, secured the premises, sent the body for an autopsy, and seized the weapon used in the attack.
FIR Lodged Based on Elder Daughter Statement and Accused Confession
An official FIR has been registered in connection with the murder based on a formal complaint filed by the victim's elder daughter, Chandni. Loni Station House Officer Yogindra Singh stated that preliminary investigations confirm the son committed the murder out of anger after being scolded and beaten by his father over the earlier sibling dispute. During subsequent police interrogation, the accused confessed to his crime. Authorities are continuing to examine all connected aspects and evidence surrounding the tragic event.
