In Kannauj, following the district magistrate's instructions, all schools up to class 8 will remain closed, encompassing government and private institutions across all educational boards. The meteorological department has issued warnings for extremely heavy rainfall across several pockets of Uttar Pradesh over the coming days. Alerts for intense precipitation remain active across both eastern and western regions of the state. In eastern Uttar Pradesh, wet weather conditions are expected to persist from September 27 to September 30, with rains likely in districts such as Varanasi, Ghazipur, Ballia, Azamgarh, Gorakhpur, Basti, and Deoria. Meanwhile, western Uttar Pradesh is bracing for heavy showers accompanied by thunderstorms and gusty winds on September 26, where wind speeds are projected to reach between 40 and 50 kilometers per hour, potentially touching 60 kilometers per hour during squalls in certain areas.
