Automaker Mahindra has strengthened its presence in the compact SUV space by launching two fresh variants for the XUV 3XO lineup. The company introduced the REVX EDGE and EDGE (O) trims with introductory ex-showroom price tags starting at Rs 9.39 lakh and Rs 9.89 lakh respectively. A notable draw in this updated catalogue is the EDGE (O) package, which delivers a panoramic sunroof at an ex-showroom threshold positioned comfortably under Rs 10 lakh.
Alongside these additions, a petrol automatic configuration has been introduced for the REVX M(O) grade at an ex-showroom price of Rs 9.99 lakh. These introductions mark an expansion of the REVX series first rolled out in July last year, designed to make premium amenities and diverse powertrain combinations accessible at more competitive price brackets. The XUV 3XO nameplate has already crossed the landmark of 2.5 lakh unit deliveries in under 2.5 years, registering the fastest sales surge for any SUV in the brand's history.
REVX EDGE Pricing Structure and Cabin Highlights
The REVX EDGE petrol manual configuration carries a retail price of Rs 9.39 lakh. Buyers opting for either the petrol automatic or the diesel manual options will see the price move to Rs 10.59 lakh. Visual and exterior hardware includes a contrasting dual-tone roof, body-coloured front grille, 16-inch steel wheels, bi-halogen projector headlamps, LED signature running lamps, and distinctive LED tail lamps.
Moving inside, the cabin is trimmed with dark leatherette upholstery. The dashboard houses a 10.25-inch high-definition infotainment touchscreen linked to a four-speaker audio setup, supporting wireless Android Auto alongside wired Apple CarPlay. Long journeys are made more convenient with cruise control, a rear-view parking camera, rear cabin air-conditioning vents, and a versatile 60:40 split-folding rear bench for expanded luggage utility.
Extra Comfort and Convenience in the EDGE (O) Package
The EDGE (O) trim starts at Rs 9.89 lakh for the petrol manual drivetrain. Stepping up to either the petrol automatic or the diesel manual commands Rs 11.09 lakh, while the range-topping diesel AMT configuration retails at Rs 11.91 lakh. Across the powertrain board, this variant commands a consistent premium of Rs 50,000 over the non-O EDGE derivative.
For that extra outlay, buyers secure the sought-after panoramic glass sunroof, functional roof rails, and electrically folding exterior wing mirrors. Everyday usability also sees significant upgrades via passive keyless entry, engine push-button start, dusk-sensing automatic headlights, and rain-sensing automatic windscreen wipers.
Mechanical Choices, Colour Palette and Safety Hardware
Both newly launched EDGE derivatives arrive factory-fitted with 35 standard safety features. The standard safety suite provides 6 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), ISOFIX child-seat anchorages, and reverse ultrasonic parking sensors across all setups.
Under the hood, buyers can pick between two engines: the 1.2-litre mStallion turbocharged petrol or the 1.5-litre turbo-diesel unit. Visual customization is covered across five paint shades, with choices encompassing Everest White, Stealth Black, Tango Red, Nebula Blue, and Galaxy Grey.
