Maruti Suzuki has launched the first mid life facelift of the second generation Brezza with deliveries now underway, adding a new turbo petrol engine, updated design and prices starting at Rs 7.39 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki's Brezza compact SUV, one of the country's best selling models, is back in the spotlight as its updated version starts reaching customers. Nearly four years after the second generation model debuted, the first mid life facelift of the Brezza was launched on July 24, 2026, and deliveries have now begun. Along with a refreshed design and additional features, Maruti Suzuki has fitted the facelift with a brand new 1.0 litre Boosterjet turbo petrol engine, giving the SUV extra muscle in a crowded segment.

Pricing, Bookings And Test Drives

Maruti Suzuki has kept pricing sharp to help the Brezza facelift take on rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV 3XO and Kia Sonet. Ex-showroom prices start at Rs 7.39 lakh and climb to Rs 13.70 lakh for the top dual tone variant. The turbo petrol variants are priced between roughly Rs 7.40 lakh and Rs 11.31 lakh, the naturally aspirated petrol range runs from Rs 8.30 lakh to Rs 13.70 lakh, and the S-CNG variants are priced between Rs 9.30 lakh and Rs 11.65 lakh. With deliveries now underway, dealerships are also accepting bookings and offering test drives.

What's New On The Outside

Up front, the facelifted Brezza gets a dark chrome panel, a revised grille and a bull bar style lower bumper, along with updated fog lamps and a reworked rear bumper. New 16 inch alloy wheels round off the sportier stance. Buyers also get two fresh colour choices, Vivacious Orange and Lustrous Beige, that were not offered before.

A Cabin Loaded With Features

Inside, the biggest addition is a 10.1 inch SmartPlay Pro X touchscreen with built in Alexa, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and over the air (OTA) software updates. The cabin also gains 64 colour ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, a wireless charger with active cooling, a PM2.5 air purifier and a dual tone cabin theme. A sunroof, a head up display (HUD) and an Arkamys sound system add to the premium feel of this update.

Safety Kit Stays Strong

The Brezza facelift continues to carry a 5-star Bharat NCAP safety rating. Standard safety features include 6 airbags, ESP, hill hold assist, a 360 degree camera, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, front parking sensors and TPMS. Cruise control, automatic climate control and connected car technology are also part of the package.

New Turbo Engine And Strong Mileage Numbers

The headline mechanical change is under the hood. The new 1.0 litre Boosterjet turbo petrol engine produces around 109-110 PS and 170 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The existing 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine continues as well, making 103 PS and 139 Nm, available with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission. The S-CNG version now offers better boot space thanks to an underbody tank layout. On mileage, Maruti Suzuki claims around 20.47 kmpl for the turbo variant, 21.09 kmpl for the naturally aspirated version and up to 26.90 kmpl for the S-CNG variant.
