Tata Motors has rolled out special Stealth Edition versions of its two best-selling SUVs, the Harrier and the Safari, which were first showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The edition arrives to mark 27 years of the Tata Safari and combines a matte black finish with blacked-out elements and a set of premium features.
Pricing and variants
The Harrier Stealth Edition is based on the Fearless+ variant, while the Safari Stealth Edition is built on the Accomplished+ trim. At Delhi ex-showroom prices, the Harrier Stealth starts at ₹25.09 lakh and the Safari Stealth starts at ₹25.74 lakh. Both models are offered with a choice of 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. Tata Motors has capped production of both editions combined at just 2,700 units, which keeps them exclusive.
A bolder, blacked-out exterior
The standout feature of the Stealth Edition is its matte Stealth Black paint, which gives the SUVs a bold, aggressive look. 19-inch black alloy wheels, a dark-themed grille, blacked-out badging and a dedicated Stealth badge add a premium touch to the exterior. Together, these changes make both the Harrier and the Safari appear more commanding on the road.
Carbon Noir cabin theme
Inside, the cabin gets an all-black Carbon Noir theme. Leatherette seats, the Stealth badge, an updated dashboard finish and ambient lighting come together to lift the sense of luxury. Space and comfort in both SUVs remain among the best in the segment.
Loaded with top-spec features
Since both Stealth Editions are based on top-spec variants, they come equipped with a 12.3-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 10-speaker JBL audio system, wireless charging, Alexa Home-to-Car and Car-to-Home connectivity, Arcade apps, MapMyIndia navigation and dual-zone climate control.
Safety kit stays strong
On the safety front, both SUVs get 7 airbags and Level 2+ ADAS with 21 functions, including intelligent speed assist, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and automatic emergency braking. They also feature ESP with 17 safety functions, a 360-degree camera and tyre pressure monitoring, which places them among the safest SUVs in the segment.
Engine and performance
Both SUVs are powered by a 2.0-litre Kryotec turbo diesel engine that produces around 168 to 170 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a torque converter automatic gearbox, delivering easy drivability in the city along with strong performance on the highway.
Overall, the Stealth Edition has been built for buyers who want a stylish look, a premium feel and strong performance, along with the exclusivity that comes with owning a limited-edition SUV.
