Ultraviolette has officially launched its new electric motorcycle, the X-47 Venom, in the Indian market. Built on the company's brand-new VX-100 platform, this motorcycle is designed to be lighter while offering extended range and advanced features. The introductory pricing starts at Rs 2.65 lakh for the first 5,000 units, while the regular price will begin at Rs 3 lakh, giving early buyers a direct benefit of Rs 35,000.
Pricing, Booking Details, and Variants
This starting price applies specifically to the 7 kWh battery version. Pricing for the 11 kWh version and the full variant list has not yet been announced. Bookings opened today, October 22, at 4 PM, with deliveries scheduled to begin in November 2026. The X-47 Venom is constructed on Ultraviolette's next-generation architecture.
New Platform and Weight Reduction
The new VX-100 platform introduces modifications to the battery, motor, and controller. These changes reduce the bike's weight to 180 kg, making it up to 20 kg lighter than the previous generation. The battery pack is 15 percent lighter and boasts 25 percent higher energy density. An axial cooling system replaces the older radial setup, delivering double the cooling performance. Color options available include Afterburner Yellow, Turbo Red, Cosmic Black, and Stellar White.
Cockpit and Smart Connected Features
The cockpit features a new 7-inch touchscreen display running on Interface X. It includes built-in Mappls navigation, rear-camera park assist, and cruise control. Connected features comprise software updates and VIOLETTE AI alerts that notify riders about movement, falls, towing incidents, and crashes.
Advanced Hypersense and Safety Systems
The hypersense system incorporates a 77 GHz rear radar that monitors distances up to 200 meters. It includes blind-spot monitoring, lane-change assistance, overtake alerts, and rear-collision warnings. In hazardous situations, the hazard lights can automatically activate. Battery protection features a pyro-fuse that disconnects the circuit within microseconds during critical faults, and the battery enclosure carries an IP67 rating. The company also showcased the B-MAX safety vest, which claims 86 percent force attenuation and can be reused up to five times.
The X-47 Venom arrives with 7 kWh and 11 kWh battery pack options. The 11 kWh pack, named SRB-11, claims an IDC range of up to 343 kilometers, while the range for the 7 kWh version remains unannounced. The motor delivers 30 kW of power (approximately 40 bhp) and 550 Nm of torque at the wheel. Acceleration claims stand at 2.7 seconds from 0 to 60 km/h and 5.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. The top speed reaches 155 km/h, and the Light Fury motor operates up to 9,000 rpm. The motor is 25 to 30 percent lighter with a 50 percent reduction in rare-earth materials, and the controller is 40 percent lighter. DC fast charging is supported up to 12 kW. The ballistic mode remains available down to 10 percent charge, and regenerative braking operates from a full charge.
Ultraviolette has also announced an extendable warranty of up to 800,000 kilometers. The X-47 Venom aims to set a new benchmark for performance, range, and safety within the Indian electric motorcycle segment.
