On the evening of Saturday, August 8, 2026, in the Naya Tola area under the Phulwari Sharif police station jurisdiction, individuals heavily under the influence of alcohol went on a rampage. Driving in a reckless and intoxicated state, the occupants of a car rammed into multiple vehicles, triggering widespread panic and anger. Reckless Driving Leads to Multiple Collisions
Reports indicate that an out-of-control Swift Dzire car smashed into several vehicles along the road before attempting to crash into a local shop. The dangerous episode quickly drew a massive crowd of onlookers at the scene. As the two youths inside the vehicle tried to flee, enraged locals apprehended them and administered a severe beating. The agitated crowd tore the clothing of both individuals and extensively vandalized their car in the process.
Clash with Dial-112 Police Team
Upon receiving information about the commotion, a Dial-112 police response team rushed to the location. When police officers attempted to rescue the youths from the grasp of the angry crowd, one of the accused even started shoving and scuffling with the law enforcement personnel. Identities of the Accused and Official Stance
According to Phulwari Sharif Station House Officer Ghulam Shahbaz Alam, the individuals inside the car were identified as Ranjeet Kumar and Ranjeet Chauhan. Police confirmed that both men were heavily intoxicated at the time of the incident.
