The friend, Fulmani Kumari, informed the authorities that she received a phone call from Sonali around 8 PM on Friday night. Sonali reportedly claimed that they were currently in Ara and were about to board a train headed for Anand Vihar in Delhi. Furthermore, Sonali allegedly stated that they would never return home again. Shortly after this communication, both of their mobile phones were turned off, raising immediate alarms.

Police investigation

Based on the family's complaint, a named FIR has been registered at the Tetia Bamber police station against Sonu Kumar, accusing him of abducting the two minor sisters. Following the incident, the girls' mother, Renu Devi, is inconsolable, while their grandfather, Bhuneshwar Malakar, is anxiously awaiting their safe return.

Upon receiving news of the incident, DSP Anil Kumar visited the village to gather details personally. Tetia Bamber Station House Officer Mukesh Kumar Kehri stated that the police are actively analyzing call detail records and mobile locations.
