The inspection was formally authorized and mandated by judicial directives. Alongside the ongoing operation at his family property in Begusarai, vigilance personnel simultaneously conducted rigorous verification drives across Diwakar's administrative office and official premises in Patna to identify property deeds and investment records.

Throughout the operation, investigators located currency notes exceeding 9 lakh rupees within the premises. In addition to the cash, officers recovered significant volumes of gold ornaments and an assortment of more than 50 branded wristwatches.
