Following the eventual construction of Ravi Bhawan, the complex gradually shifted focus toward telecommunication equipment and mobile trade, while the historic red gate was deliberately preserved to honor the site's original landmark identity.

Trader Sushil Lalwani noted that approximately three decades have passed since Ravi Bhawan was constructed. Within the structure, roughly 200 shops operate on the ground floor alone. These retail and wholesale counters provide new mobile phones, second-hand handsets, on-site device repairs, and a wide assortment of tech accessories. Because customers can access hardware troubleshooting, accessories, and device purchases in a single visit, they avoid the necessity of travelling across multiple scattered markets.
