The alleged incidents took place in the Anjar locality of Kutch, where the teenager resided with her mother, father, and three sisters. Originating from another state, the family had relocated to Gujarat and had been residing in the area for roughly six years. According to the statements provided to the police, the severe domestic conflict escalated sharply midway through September.
Dispute Over a Phone Conversation
In her statement to the police, the minor stated that the confrontation originated on September 14 while she was on a telephone call with a male acquaintance located in Agra. Her mother overheard the conversation and began questioning her regarding the interaction. Upon the father's return from work later that day, the mother informed him about the call, claiming that their daughter had been communicating with the boy and was engaged in a personal relationship.
Allegations of Captivity and Assault
According to the complaint, the father reacted with extreme rage, physically striking the teenager before locking her inside the residence. The girl stated that she was denied food and water while enduring hours of corporal violence. The complaint further describes repeated acts of sexual assault carried out by the father over the subsequent days inside the home in the presence of the mother. However, her parents reportedly arrived, confiscated the handset, and forcefully dragged her back into their apartment, where she was once again confined indoors before authorities subsequently intervened.
