The deceased, identified as Vaishali, was staying at her maternal grandparents' home located in the Indira Colony area, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Kotwali police station. Discovery of the Incident and Immediate Police Response
According to available details, Vaishali was residing with her maternal family in Indira Colony when the tragedy took place on Friday. She allegedly hanged herself inside her private room. The situation came to light when family members discovered her body suspended from the ceiling and raised an immediate alarm. Distraught relatives promptly alerted the local law enforcement authorities about the occurrence.
Upon receiving the news, Kotwali Police Station In-charge Manoj Kumar arrived at the spot accompanied by a police team. Officers conducted a detailed inspection of the scene in the presence of the family members and subsequently lowered the body from the rope. The police then arranged for an ambulance to transport her body to the mortuary of the Barmer District Hospital for safe preservation.
